Join us for the Skunkworks Community Summer Camp, January 4–11 at the beautiful Bright Chalet in Bright! Led by Chief Conductor David Bremner of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, alongside tutors from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, NSW Police Band, Griffith University, and the Skunkworks team.

Overview:
Join us for a 7-day, 7-night immersive music experience for brass and percussion players of all levels. Led by Chief Conductor David Bremner (New Zealand Symphony Orchestra) and tutors including Richard Shirley (Trombone, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), Abbey Edlin (Horn,Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), Aidan Purdy (Tuba, NSW Police Band), and the Skunkworks Team.
Daily activities include morning exercises, camp choir, warm-up routines, full band rehearsals, sectionals, and electives such as jazz band, drumming groups, and choir. Evenings feature tutor concerts, solo performances, Red Faces, camp trivia, and the Race Around the World.

There are a number of ensembles for musicians to participate in from beginners to advanced. Time is also allocated for sectional practice and tuition with the relevant instrumental specialists. The week culminates in a concert where the fruits of your musical efforts are showcased to the public.

There are many extracurricular activities to participate in such as swimming, bike riding and nature walks as well as organised social activities. A full schedule of activities will be available in due course.
