Our 2025 Bright Brass & Percussion Summer Intensive features internationally renowned conductor and trombonist David Bremner. Hailing from New Zealand, David has held the position of Principal Trombone with the NZ Symphony Orchestra since 2002 and is MD of the NZ National Band.

About the camp
All Welcome
Musicians of all ages and abilities are invited to joins us for a week of fun and music in the beautiful Victorian Alps. Held each January at the Bright Chalet this week long music camp includes accommodation, meals and expert musical tuition in a fun group environment. Develop your ensemble playing and showcase your achievements at the Bright Summer Camp Concert. Extracurricular activities include bike riding, rafting, swimming (all inclusive).
Accommodation
This residential music camp is held at the beautiful Bright Chalet, 113 Delaney Ave Bright. Bright Chalet has accommodation suitable for large groups, holidays, families, couples or the solo traveller from standard rooms to family apartments. Includes buffet style restaurant, swimming pool and sundeck, internet, bike riding, rafting, nature walks plus free parking and more. CAmp prices include 7 nights accommodation plus breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ensembles
There are a number of ensembles for musicians to participate in from beginners to advanced. Time is also allocated for sectional practice and tuition with the relevant instrumental specialists. The week culminates in a concert where the fruits of your musical efforts are showcased to the public.
Activities
There are many extracurricular activities to participate in such as swimming, bike riding and nature walks as well as organised social activities. A full schedule of activities will be available in due course.
